Purpose of the Platform
EquaWork provides a platform connecting job candidates and employers under structured and transparent hiring standards.
EquaWork facilitates applications, communication, and hiring workflows but is not a party to any employment relationship between candidates and employers.
Eligibility
To use EquaWork, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Use the platform in compliance with applicable laws
Candidate Accounts
Candidates may create profiles and apply to job listings at no cost.
Data Usage:
- Candidate data is stored securely by EquaWork
- Candidate information is shared with employers only when applying to a job
- Personal identifying information (such as name and contact details) is disclosed only when a candidate is invited for an interview
Employer Accounts
Employers may post job listings and manage applications through the platform.
Employers agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful job information
- Respect the EquaWork Candidates' Bill of Rights
- Handle candidate data responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection laws
No Guarantee of Outcomes
EquaWork does not guarantee:
- That candidates will receive interviews or job offers
- That employers will find suitable candidates
- That employers will respond to every application, despite platform enforcement mechanisms
No Responsibility for Hiring Decisions
EquaWork is not responsible for:
- Any hiring, rejection, or employment decisions made by employers
- The outcome of any application or interview process
- Any perceived or actual discrimination, unless directly caused by platform functionality

Candidate Responsibility
Candidates are responsible for:
- The accuracy and truthfulness of the information they provide
- The content of their applications, including any personal information voluntarily disclosed
EquaWork is not responsible if a candidate:
- Includes personal identifiers (e.g., name, gender, etc.) in fields intended to be anonymous
- Misrepresents their qualifications
- Engages in fraudulent or unlawful behavior
Employer Responsibility
Employers are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of job postings
- The conduct of their hiring processes
- The handling of candidate data once access is granted (including after interview invitation)
EquaWork does not guarantee that job postings are accurate, complete, or truthful, although we take reasonable steps to review listings.
Data Sharing and Liability
Once a candidate's personal information is shared with an employer (e.g., after interview invitation), the employer becomes independently responsible for:
- Processing and protecting that data
- Complying with applicable data protection laws
EquaWork is not liable for how employers use or handle candidate data after it has been shared.
Platform Integrity and Moderation
EquaWork reserves the right to:
- Review, approve, reject, or remove job postings
- Suspend or terminate employer or candidate accounts
- Take action against users who violate platform rules
These actions are taken to maintain platform integrity but do not constitute a guarantee of full accuracy or compliance by all users.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EquaWork shall not be liable for:
- Any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the platform
- Loss of employment opportunities
- Misconduct by employers or candidates
- Inaccurate job listings or candidate profiles
- Interrupted or incomplete hiring processes
No Warranty
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available".
EquaWork makes no warranties regarding:
- Platform availability or uptime
- Accuracy of content
- Employer or candidate behavior
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and systems of EquaWork are the property of EquaWork and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
Changes to the Terms
EquaWork may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of France.
